

Your newer thumb drive still very usable. Since you added the NES and SNES games after formatting to FAT32, they work fine. The titles still show up on your Wii as if they were there because your Wii expects them to be there, but since they are not there anymore, when you click them, it black screens. When you formatted to FAT32, you deleted everything off your new drive. That's why there was trouble with your NES and SNES games at first. The only things that work on that are Wii games, the PC won't detect it properly, but Wii Backup Manager still will detect it. Wii Backup Manager formats USB drives to a special file system WBFS is what it's called. If that's the case, this is what happened: You wanted to add NES and SNES, so you formatted the big one again, to FAT32 and now the Wii games don't work, yes? You formatted that new one using Wii Backup Manager, and added games to it through Wii Backup Manager, yes? You had an old,small USB drive, so you bought a new one, yes?
